so i’m moving to duluth, ga (just north of atlanta). i’m moving in with my best friend and her girlfriend. so i was on my way back to the apartment when i decided to find a wal-mart (i’m not familiar with the area at all). i’m not a fan of wal-mart so i was like, “let’s make this quick and painless.” (i ALWAYS spend too much in there.) i go in and look for their hair care aisles and what do i find???? they had EVERYTHING! shea moisture collection, pure shea butter, jojoba oil, cream of nature’s argan oil products, eden bodyworks, and tons of other products i’ve never seen or heard of but i’m anxious to try.
okay so maybe this selection isn’t a big deal to some people, maybe the wal-marts we have back home just suck… who knows? who cares? i felt like i was in effin’ product junkie heaven. i was hating for a minute though, for real. i’m sitting there thinking, “man, why we can’t have all this in our wal-mart at home.” i’m really anxious to try the eden’s bodyworks line.
i need to chill on my product junkie tendancies. i can’t afford it. especially not now. i gotta stay strong!!! lol so my goal is to find some decently priced products that work for my hair to achieve the looks i want.

so i’m hella late, but i just figured out what the hell tumblr was. i kept seeing it and i’d be like “what the hell is tumblr?” i swear it seems there’s a new social site everyday so i see no point in trying to keep up. i finally decided to google it and see what it was, and i’m like, “aaaah! cool!” so yea. here i am. lol.
my main reason in attempting this is that i’ve been slacking on my writing and i need to get into it and take it more seriously. i feel like writing is a major part of who i am and i’ve fallen out with that part of myself somewhere along the way. it’s time we reconnect.
so. we’ll see how it goes. =). i plan to write on everything that moves me from natural hair, to food, to travel, to LGBT issues… i was gonna say fashion, but if you knew how i dressed you’d give me the side eye lol. eh. i used to have fashion sense. it got lost somewhere along the way though, apparently.
